Hands-on aviation experiences designed for young minds aged 8–18
TKACZ offers a range of carefully designed programs that give young Zambians real exposure to aviation — from behind-the-scenes airport access to internationally recognized simulation training and engineering competitions.
Behind the scenes of real aviation operations
Our Airport Tours program gives youth exclusive access to the inner workings of Zambia's aviation infrastructure. Participants visit control towers, aircraft hangars, maintenance bays, and meet working aviation professionals — from pilots and air traffic controllers to engineers and ground crew.
Live aviation demonstrations and career inspiration
TKACZ organizes and participates in air shows that bring the excitement of aviation to life. Youth witness live flight demonstrations, aerobatics, drone displays, and interact with aviation exhibitors. These events are designed to ignite passion and open eyes to the breadth of aviation careers.
Experience the cockpit before you fly
Our simulation program gives aspiring pilots hands-on experience in realistic flight and drone simulators. Participants learn basic flight controls, navigation principles, and emergency procedures in a safe, supervised environment — building confidence and foundational skills for future pilot training.
Engineer, build, and fly your own aircraft
The RC Design & Technology Competition challenges youth to apply STEM principles to real aviation engineering. Teams design, build, and fly remote-controlled aircraft, competing on performance, innovation, and design quality. This program builds critical thinking, teamwork, and technical skills.
